The Gran Bahia Principe Ambar looks out over a 700-metre-long beach, and is separated from the Caribbean Sea by a row of tall palms. There are watersports and a hotel bar along the shore.

The pool is large and curvy affair, with swim-up bar and palm-studded island. Thatched umbrellas and loungers for two fill the terraces, and romantic gardens frame the whole scene.
