Riu Palace Mexico
The Riu Palace Mexico is a luxury hotel, with the look of an aristocratic Mexican ranch – terracotta-topped rooftops, splashing fountains and palatial courtyards.Through the palm trees at the back the hotel is the Playacar beach, with kayaks and windsurfing boards, and plenty of sunbeds for you to stretch out on.
The swimming pools are a feature with a swim-up bar, a whirlpool bath and a huge mosaic of a hibiscus flower. The poolside terrace is a great plae to catch some sun.There are two beach restaurants here for lunch – one serving Italian cuisine, the other Mexican. And for dinner there’s the main restaurant for an international buffet as well as a whole host of specialities – four theme restaurants including a Fusion food restaurant.
