This family hotel is just a few steps from Puerto Pollensa’s waterfront, which is studded with little sandy coves.There are tremendous views of the mountains, but the center of the resort, with its huge sandy beach is a gentle 20 minutes walk away along the shore. You could of course get there quickly by bus or cab.

The Playa Mar has a huge pool, in the shape of a cloverleaf with one leaf set aside for toddlers. There are large terraces with sunloungers and palms. Children can enjoy the Thomson Kids’ Club. When you feel hungry, a poolside snack bar serves snacks and drinks, plus a smart buffet restaurant featuring all the usual Spanish and English favourites for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
