Villa Mandi Golf Resort, Los Cristianos, Tenerife

This resort is made up of low-rise terracotta buildings, enhanced with palms, lawns and rockeries. The entyrance is reminiscent of a Spanish castle, though with an adjacent golf course. The location is peaceful, but still within walking distance of the sandy beach at Vistas, also within walking distance are the shops, bars and restaurants of Los Cristianos centre.

The apartments arespacious and decorated in bright Mediterranean colours, with lime-washed wooden furniture and comfy sofas. Most have balconies or terraces, too, and each has a kitchenette.  The resort is well suited for famiuly holidays, with a Thomson Kids’ Club, which has organised games, a drop-in den filled with activities, or they can putt their way around the manifold course or catch some table tennis.

The Mandi has four pools, from a long lagoon that loops through palms to a dinky baby pool. They’re all tucked between the apartments and one comes with a pool bar with its tables and chairs set around the water’s edge.
